Funzyme Biotechnologies
FunZyme BioTechnologies S.A. has been created in Geneva in April 2005. It has been developed through a collaboration between Dr Michel Monod, a microbiologist and molecular biologist specialised in dermatological pathologies from the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV, Lausanne, Switzerland), Dr Eric Grouzmann, a pharmacist and biologist specialized in proteolytic enzymes from the CHUV, and Dr Reto Stöcklin, a biochemist and protein chemist specialised in drug discovery, founder and owner of Atheris laboratories (Geneva, Switzerland). In August 2003 these three applied for a provisional patent related to their inventions involving novel proteolytic enzymes originating from pathogenic fungi with unprecedented activities.

International Society on Toxinology
The International Society on Toxinology was founded in 1962 by a group on scientists and clinicians interested in advancing the science of toxinology. The Society had it's first international meeting in 1966 in Atlantic City, USA and it's Journal, Toxicon, was first published in 1963.
The purpose of the Society is to advance knowledge on the properties of toxins and antitoxins and to bring together scholars interested in these substances through a common Society. Membership consists of those who have conducted and published meritorious original investigations in toxinology, while persons who do not qualify for membership but are interested in the field of toxinology are eligible for associate membership.

Drug Discovery Today
Since its launch in 1996, Drug Discovery Today has been at the cutting edge of the science underpinning drug discovery and development. We deliver highly current reviews to our readers, not only addressing the rapid scientific developments in drug discovery associated technologies, but also the management, commercial and regulatory issues that increasingly play a part in how R&D is planned, structured and executed.
In 2007, we launched our successful Drug Discovery Today: Digital Edition, offering a convenient way for the drug discovery community to keep up-to-date with our content.
Our mission is to keep our audience informed about the drug discovery industry.

Amercian Peptide Society
The American Peptide Society (APS), a nonprofit scientific and educational organization founded in 1990, provides a forum for advancing and promoting knowledge of the chemistry and biology of peptides. The approximately one thousand members of the Society come from North America and from more than thirty other countries throughout the world. Establishment of the American Peptide Society was a result of the rapid worldwide growth that has occurred in peptide-related research, and of the increasing interaction of peptide scientists with virtually all fields of science.

Groupe français des peptides et des protéines (GFPP)
The "Groupe français des peptides" (GFP) was created at the initiative of Bertrand Castro (then professor at the University of Nancy) and Pierre Rivaille (DR-CNRS at CHU St-Antoine) with the help of DGRST (France Normand ). In 1978, stood at Pont-à-Mousson the first meeting of the "Groupe français des peptides", whose ambition was to bring together French scientists of all backgrounds working in the field of peptides.
The success of this event led the committee of the "Groupe français des peptides" to hold every two years a meeting between French scientists, then French speaking scientists.
In 1992, the association was renamed the "Groupe français des peptides et des protéines" (GFPP).
Its purpose is to promote the development of research in the field of peptides and proteins, and participate in the training of young researchers and technicians. The association organizes GFPP meetings (every two years) as well as thematic studies workshops.
